About LPP
Little Piggy Productions began in April 2008 in a rental home near the University of Denver, with live recording work and private music lessons. The name is a fond nod to my grandfather, Al Barnhart, who used to call me “little piggy” at the dinner table—a nickname that inspired my lifelong collection of pig figurines. Since those early days, I’ve earned a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate in music, expanded my teaching to a wide range of instruments, and added therapeutic music as a Certified Music Practitioner through the Music for Healing and Transition Program. Today, I perform with groups including Compass Resonance Ensemble and Parish House Baroque, share the story of plucked-string instruments through school performances, and enjoy playing at local venues around Northeast Westminster. I’m also excited to do more recording—for my own projects and to help young musicians grow—and to bring my love of woodworking and instruments into a new collection of handcrafted items.
